One of my favorite activities is to ride downtown from my friends houses in Gray’s Crossing for afternoon and early evening festivities in the summer. The easy and equal access to any of the major ski resorts – Northstar, Squaw, Alpine, Sugar Bowl – keeps an owner from feeling locked into one ski resort over another by the neighborhood they are choosing, which is a bonus for some. The fantastic golf course is public resort access but offers seasonal memberships so season to season golf commitment can vary. The golf course offers a great little local restaurant in PJ’s Bar & Grill, which I have been known to haunt as one of my local favorites.
