Summer 2022 Activities, Events, and Hours
After Memorial Day, summer in Tahoe is fully underway with every trail, pool, and golf course open in the region. Below is a breakdown of some information and event highlights throughout the summer.
Music
Weekly concerts at PJ’s Crossing are back! Every Tuesday evening at 5:30 from June 7 to August 16, come grab a bite to eat and listen to some great bands overlooking Gray’s Crossing golf course. These concerts are open to the public, reservations for PJ’s are recommended.
In addition to music at PJ’s, you can find free concerts throughout the rest of the week:
Wednesdays: Music in the Park at the Truckee Regional Park
Thursdays: Truckee Thursdays in Downtown Truckee
Fridays: Music on the Beach in Kings Beach
Sundays: Concerts at Commons Beach in Tahoe City
Pools and Dining
Both the Old Greenwood Pavilion and the Gray’s Crossing pool complex are open for the season along with their respective restaurants, the aforementioned PJ’s for Gray’s Crossing and Bearfoot Grill for the Pavilion. Poolside service is new for the season at both locations and orders can be placed through the Tahoe Mountain Club app.
Bearfoot Grill is open 11am-8pm seven days a week while PJ’s is open Tuesday-Sunday 8am-9pm and closed Mondays.
Golf Events and Tee Times
Starting on June 4th with the Titleist Fitting at Gray’s Crossing, there are golf-centric events throughout the summer including mixers, fittings, kid’s tournaments, glow golf and more. Visit the pro shops for dates and details.

The biggest event of the summer will be the Barracuda Championship, an official PGA tour event, at Old Greenwood from July 14-17. This tournament is open to the public and requires tickets, but is an excellent event to take the whole family to. Please be advised that this tournament will affect operating hours around those dates. Please check with the Old Greenwood pro shop for more details.
