Building Community One Tail at a Time

Home is Where the Paws Are

As a real estate professional, I’ve always believed that a strong, supportive community is the foundation of a better quality of life. That’s why I recently spent time at the Humane Society of Truckee-Tahoe (HSTT), an organization I admire for its compassion and dedication. During my visit, I had the privilege of walking Heidi, a sweet and adoptable dog who captured my heart and reminded me just how much HSTT contributes to our community.

My Time with Heidi

A WALK WITH HEIDI

Spending time with Heidi was such a rewarding experience. She’s playful, affectionate, and patiently waiting for her forever home. Walking with her, I couldn’t help but reflect on the incredible work HSTT does for animals like Heidi. They provide care, support, and second chances to pets in need, ensuring they’re ready to join loving families.
For me, this experience went beyond spending time with a sweet pup—it reinforced how much organizations like HSTT enrich our lives here in Truckee-Tahoe.

A Purposeful Connection

Why the Humane Society of Truckee-Tahoe Matters

Truckee-Tahoe is a special place to call home, and I’ve seen firsthand how much stronger our community becomes when we support one another. The Humane Society of Truckee-Tahoe (HSTT) plays a vital role in this by providing more than just a shelter for animals. They offer adoption services, spay/neuter programs, and education to strengthen the bond between pets and their people. Their work creates countless success stories, connecting families with loyal companions and giving every animal the care and second chances they deserve. HSTT truly reflects the values that make this area such an incredible place to live.

Capturing the Moment

To share this story, I partnered with Vista Estate Visuals, who created stunning video and photography content. Their ability to tell stories through their lens brought Heidi’s personality and HSTT’s mission to life. I’m so grateful for their partnership in helping to highlight this meaningful cause.
