This winter marks the debut of something rare and refined at Palisades Tahoe: the Apex Club, an elevated private members club designed to redefine the mountain experience for those who value access, comfort, and connection—both on and off the slopes.
Opening December 12, the Apex Club introduces a new standard of exclusivity at one of North America’s most iconic ski destinations. Thoughtfully limited in membership, the club blends seamless ski-day efficiency with beautifully designed spaces and curated, member-only experiences.
For those seeking more than just a day on the mountain, the Apex Club offers something rare: a place to belong.
A New Way to Experience the Mountain
At its core, the Apex Club is about ease. Members enjoy priority lift access across 12 lifts at Palisades and Alpine, preferred parking, and first access to the mountain each day—including being among the very first on the Funitel before the public. It’s skiing without friction, designed for those who want to maximize time on snow and minimize logistics.
Beyond the lifts, Apex Club members gain access to a collection of exclusive lounges across the mountain:
Apex Lounge (Base Area)
Apex Oro Bar (Gold Coast)
Granite Bistro at High Camp, with preferred reservations
Each space is designed to serve as a warm, refined retreat throughout the day—whether you’re starting the morning, meeting friends between runs, or winding down après.
A Basecamp Designed to Relax
The newly reimagined Apex Lounge at the base, formerly Plaza Bar, is undergoing a stunning transformation inspired by the Finnish concept of oleilu—to relax and simply be. Designed as a true home base, the lounge will feature fireplaces, a full bar, concierge services, complimentary breakfast bites, and small bites available throughout the day.
Open daily from 7:30am to 5:00pm, the Apex Lounge is intended to be a comfortable, welcoming extension of your mountain lifestyle—exclusive to members and thoughtfully designed for both relaxation and connection.

White-Glove Service & Member Experiences
A dedicated Apex Club concierge elevates the experience even further, assisting with ski lessons, private guides, equipment rentals, dining reservations, and access to exclusive member-only events.
Members can also look forward to a rotating calendar of curated experiences, including:
First Tracks and early mountain access
Athlete meet-and-greets
Bespoke events at the Apex Lounge, such as winemaker evenings, product testing, and talks
Special partner and lifestyle experiences unique to the club
Additional perks include preferred parking, priority access, and discounted rentals, all designed to create a seamless and elevated ski day.

Membership Designed for Flexibility
The Apex Club offers multiple membership structures tailored to individuals, families, and corporate or transferable use—making it especially compelling for luxury homeowners, ski houses shared among multiple families, and companies seeking a premium way to entertain clients or teams.
While membership is limited to preserve the experience, interest has been strong since launch, reflecting a growing demand for high-touch, community-driven mountain amenities.
