Alpenglow Winter Speaker Series
The Alpenglow Sports Winter Speaker Series, presented by the North Tahoe Chamber, stands as the largest free community speaker series in the nation—an inspiring celebration of outdoor adventure and community impact. Each winter, Alpenglow Sports brings together some of the most renowned figures in the outdoor industry to share personal stories of exploration, perseverance, and passion for the mountains.
Every event in the series is free and open to all ages, welcoming both longtime locals and visitors to gather, connect, and be inspired. No registration is required, and attendees can choose to experience the event in person or via live stream on Alpenglow’s YouTube channel, ensuring accessibility to mountain enthusiasts near and far.
A hallmark of the Winter Speaker Series is its unwavering commitment to giving back. Each speaker is paired with a local nonprofit organization, creating meaningful partnerships that extend beyond the stage. Through two generous giveaways—one in person and one online—along with bar sales and the anonymous Donor Party, the series has raised substantial funds for organizations that strengthen the Tahoe community.
For the 2025–26 season, Alpenglow Sports is proud to support a remarkable group of nonprofit beneficiaries, including Truckee Dirt Union, Truckee Roundhouse, Lake Tahoe Waterman Association, Headwaters Science Institute, and the Tahoe Cross Country Ski Education Association (TCCSEA).
