This February, Sugar Bowl Resort will host one of the most exciting youth snow sports events of the season as the USASA Futures Tour makes its North Tahoe stop. Taking place February 23–27, the event will showcase the next generation of freestyle talent from across the United States and beyond.
The Futures Tour is designed to bridge the gap between regional USASA competitions and national-level FIS events sanctioned by U.S. Ski & Snowboard. Athletes who qualify for this tour have already proven themselves at the highest level of USASA competition, making this stop a rare opportunity to watch top-tier youth athletes push their skills on a national stage.
With approximately 200 of the sport’s most promising young competitors expected to attend, the North Tahoe Futures Tour stop highlights the region’s continued role in developing elite winter athletes. Additional event details will be released closer to the competition dates.
Whether you’re a fan of freestyle skiing and snowboarding or simply looking to experience the energy of a high-level mountain event, this is one competition worth watching unfold at Sugar Bowl Resort.
