Rodgers & Hammerstein’s Cinderella

This enchanting, Tony-nominated Broadway adaptation of the beloved musical will put a spell on audiences of all ages. Rodgers + Hammerstein’s Cinderella showcases some of the songwriting duo’s loveliest tunes, including “In My Own Little Corner,” “Impossible/It’s Possible,” and “Ten Minutes Ago,” as well as some new characters and surprising twists. Add a dash of fairy-tale romance, magical onstage transformations, and the iconic pumpkin and glass slippers—and you’re guaranteed to have a ball!

Full Moon Kayak Tours
May 4th & 5th | 6pm-9pm | Tahoe Vista Recreation Area
Float in a kayak on the clear blue water while the sun sets the sky on fire, the full moon rises, and the stars twinkle! The water will be calm and quiet as the wind dies down and other boats button up for the night. Increase your knowledge of astronomy with jaw dropping views of Lake Tahoe illuminated by the light of the full moon. We paddle for about two hours before landing on the beach to cap it all off with hot drinks, snacks, and more stargazing on the beach.
When the moon isn’t Full, Sunset paddles are still offered.
Trips include kayak, paddle, life jacket, knowledgeable guides, instruction, natural and human history, astronomy discussions, permit fees. Some personal clothing required.

An Evening in Hollywood

As part of our commitment to strengthen and support families in the North Lake Tahoe – Truckee community, we recognize and honor that all families are unique. And to celebrate the special bond between family members in our region, we will host our annual Family Dance–formerly known as the Tahoe Father Daughter Dance–where young children and their role models can get dressed up, enjoy quality time together, and dance the night away.
The theme this year is “An Evening in Hollywood.” Come walk the red carpet and have your photo taken by paparazzi, learn a fun dance routine from a local dance troupe, and enjoy various crafts and activity tables!

The 31st Annual Cushing Crossing is the best event of the spring season. The original pond skimming contest is tentatively scheduled for May 13th, 2023 at 1pm*. Join in on the fun, watch big spills, and share some much-needed laughs with our celebrity judges and 2 of the best emcee’s around. Costumes are highly encouraged! Awards ceremony will immediately follow the event at Cushing Pond. Each category winner will win prizes from our sponsors: Yeti, Smith, Phunkshun Wear, Dakine, and Darn Tough. The overall winner will receive a 2023/2024 Ikon Base Pass, GoPro Hero 11 and $500 cash!

Kentucky Derby Summer Preivew

The TMC Summer Preview will happen Saturday, May 6th as we open PJ’s doors early for our Members. This year, we’re combining the festivities of the Kentucky Derby with a showcase of all of our summer programming. Before the race, come play croquet, enjoy new food, and meet new Members! There will be a best Derby hat competition with prizes, so make sure to wear your wildest sun hat to prepare for the race!
