As one of the most prominent figures in snowboarding and skateboarding, Shaun White has called Northstar California his home resort since 2011. After the first season of training at Northstar, White initiated a conversation with Tahoe Mountain Club as a means for expanding his involvement with the resort and the region.

“Spending as much time as I do riding at Northstar, I got hooked on the food at Schaffer’s Camp,” said Shaun. “Being able to play golf, hit the gym, eat beet salad and snowboard in the same day is something I’m happy about…so I’m very grateful for my Tahoe Mountain Club membership.”

Northstar California, operated by Vail Resorts, has elevated its profile to become the finest resort property in the Lake Tahoe region with a new Ritz-Carlton hotel, alpine village and resort improvements including several new high-speed lifts. Tahoe Mountain Club exists to compliment new real estate offerings, including Home Run Residences and Martis 25, within the resort that provide families the unique opportunity to live, literally, on the mountain.

The famed athlete will now have access to Tahoe Mountain Club’s extensive fitness and spa facilities, as well as award winning golf courses at Old Greenwood and Gray’s Crossing.
