Supporting Families, One Paw at a Time
For 25 years, the Northern Nevada Children’s Cancer Foundation (NNCCF) has been a beacon of hope for families facing the unimaginable challenge of childhood cancer. As the only nonprofit in the region solely dedicated to this cause, NNCCF provides Help, Hope, and Courage to families across northern Nevada, including Reno, Carson City, Winnemucca, Elko, Incline Village, and Tonopah.
With a dedicated staff that understands the complexities of a cancer diagnosis, NNCCF tailors its services to each family's unique needs. Whether it's financial aid for medical bills, travel expenses, or emotional and educational support, NNCCF ensures that no family walks this journey alone. Each year, approximately 150 children receive assistance through NNCCF’s programs—all at no cost to the families, with no income restrictions. If a child (ages 0-25) has a confirmed cancer diagnosis and resides in northern Nevada, NNCCF is there to help.
Pooch Playoffs: A Fun Way to Give Back
This year, NNCCF is excited to be the beneficiary of the Pooch Playoffs, a competition that brings together 16 of the cutest mutts to raise money for charity. This fun and heartwarming event invites the community to vote for their favorite furry contestants, with all sponsorship donations going directly to NNCCF.
