Crestwood Construction: Versatility and Vision in Tahoe/Truckee’s High-End Residential Market

The world of high-end residential construction in Tahoe/Truckee is extremely complex and quality, ingenuity, and consistency are just a few of the many core traits builders must possess to be successful. Such is the talent level of the craftsmen and artists working within our region that clients can be drawn to a singular aesthetic, especially those which are executed extremely well. As a result, General Contractors often become victims of their own success, repeating the product and/or builds which they are known for.

I worked closely with Marshall Williams, Owner of Crestwood Construction, and Project Manager Tad Herrington on a handful of homes with a variety of aesthetics, and what struck me most is the incredible team they have assembled. From foundation to finish carpentry, siding materials to interiors, the range of skills each member brings to the table are top notch, and subtle nuances truly set them apart. Strong support by an equally impressive back of the house staff helps to complete the team and provide a fully transparent experience for clients.

Marshall Williams earned his undergraduate degree in Construction Management from Sierra College in 1999 and founded Crestwood Construction shortly thereafter in 2005. Inspired by legendary Tahoe builders including Tony Hardy, Bruce Olson and John Corda, Marshall has established Crestwood as a smaller, boutique builder capable of extraordinary craftsmanship.
