It’s time again to dress up and enjoy the Cadillac Ball! This grand event, which takes place every year, is put together by the Rotary Club of Truckee and 100% of the proceeds go to charities and non-profits of the Truckee-Tahoe area. Happening this Saturday, November 2nd at The Ritz-Carlton, Lake Tahoe, this year’s theme is to celebrate the History of Truckee focusing on the 1880’s through 1920’s time period. Dressing up in the clothes representing expanse of time allows for interpretation and will produce a lot of fantastic costumes. There should be some great people watching…and it’s for a great cause. Tickets to the event itself are almost sold out, but if you act now, you could possibly participate in the fun. If being there isn’t your goal, then you can still do your part by purchasing raffle tickets for an array of fabulous prizes.
