One of the hottest Lake Tahoe communities of the year is Home Run at Northstar California. This community is comprised of 16  Ski-in/Ski-out townhomes located directly on-mountain at Northstar California.  With twelve total sales in a year and a half, and four so far this year, Home Run is soon to be sold out.  By some miracle, Residence 16 is still available.  This beautiful 4 bedroom 5 bathroom 3,300 square foot end unit is the epitome of ski-in/ski-out.

The attraction behind Home Run is not only the patio, where you and your family can ski in and out from throughout the winter months, but also the interior design and finishes.  The minute you walk in to Residence 16, you immediately feel at home and ready to relax.  The main level has an open floor plan with vaulted ceilings.  The kitchen, living room, dining room, breakfast nook, and master bedroom are all on the elevated main level with views of the ski run for you to enjoy.   The living room opens to an upper level deck that overlooks the backyard- which has beautiful landscaping and large, mature pine trees. The upper level offers two bedrooms with great views, two bathrooms and an office.    The downstairs ground level is spacious and designed with ski-in/ski-out in mind: complete with a ski room which was thoughtfully designed to provide space to remove, dry, and store all of your outdoor equipment.  The media room keeps the kids busy when not out enjoying the Resort, and complements the junior master suite nicely. In the summer months, put the patio outside the lower level to use for enjoying for a cocktail or a soak in the hot tub.

Living directly on the ski run allows for ultimate flexibility in family skiing.  Often, some family members are eager to get out on the slopes first thing in the morning, but others want to sip coffee and wait for the sun to melt the snow stuck to the chairlifts before venturing out.  When living at Home Run, everyone wins. Without having to car pool to the mountain, you send the “eager beavers” off skiing, and enjoy some well-earned R&R before hitting the slopes.  Come lunchtime, everyone meets at the townhome and goes back out to enjoy the afternoon skiing together.  Perfect.

Our owners so far have fallen in love with the interior finishes and layout.  With the addition of the new Tree House community center opening on July 5th, 2014, Home Run is looking more appealing than ever, and most definitely worth a look around.
