Welcome back to the start of another beautiful weekend to come here in the Truckee/Tahoe area with the Wanderlust Festival sure to bring in positive vibes and great people looking to take advantage of the endless activities possible in our beautiful mountain community.

Not being a huge Yogi myself, I decided to find my Chi by taking a few summer turns at Northstar’s Bike Park… and conditions are all time right now. The Northstar trail crew has worked endless hours to open the mountain after record breaking snowfall as they have made a ton of great changes to the already amazing 50 plus trails in the park.

The very popular trail known as Gypsy just re-opened for the season as they will kick off this exciting news with a top to bottom race this Sunday. If you’re in the area and want to see some of the best downhill racers battle for the podium, Northstar is the place to be.

Hop in the saddle with me and watch this short video of a few runs to give you an idea of how fun this park is. Great job once again to the Northstar team for delivering the most amazing year-round facility on the west coast.

Real Estate:

With July 4th week behind us and some great showing activity in the last few weeks, the luxury market has greased their wheels and is bracing for what could be an epic selling season. Already since June 1st, 12 homes have sold above the $1M mark with 5 homes selling in Martis Camp, 4 in Lahontan and 2 at Gray’s Crossing with collectively a median sales price of $2.9M and $701/square foot.

Most notable to me is the amount of great inventory at Lahontan under the $2M mark as potentially a mix of consumers willing to pay more for newer product has driven price down, but great news for consumers looking for a beautiful valued property that wont break the bank in one of the most beautiful golf communities in town. Take a look at what’s currently listed in all of the core golf communities.
