Northstar Real Estate is heating up in preparation for winter. The 7 closings this month and 16 properties currently in escrow have capped off an excellent summer of growth. New construction properties are selling amongst resales and village condominiums. While the current active inventory still provides a dynamic buying platform, each wave of properties continue to show growth in value. Northstar’s sales volume YTD is up nearly 45% from 2015 (83 sales vs. 48) and the average sales price has also increased by 38% from $705,000 to $1,124,000. Northstar’s attractive family mountain atmosphere, enhanced by recent extensive capital improvements in infrastructure and recreation, are reflecting in the values.
