The Truckee-Tahoe area continues to improve. The 7 mile Truckee River Legacy Trail along the Truckee River, spanning from central Truckee to the Glenshire neighborhood, was recently completed. This trail has already been hugely popular for biking, walking, and jogging. Last week, it was announced that a bike trail from Truckee to Northstar will be the next to break ground. This is fantastic! Our area continues to do all of the right things to enhance the experience and quality of life in Truckee-Tahoe. The Truckee Trails Foundation, along with many other contributors, have done a great job so far with every bike trail that they’ve produced.
Two weeks ago, I rode bikes with my 9 and 11 year old children to downtown Truckee for ice cream with another family. What a great time! Last week, we rode from Tahoe City to Tahoe Pines to see friends for whom I assisted in purchasing a home there. It was so much fun. Needless to say, our area is well on the way to connecting the whole region by bike paths. You have to love an area that keeps getting better, especially for owning real estate.
