After establishing a successful 26-year career in high-end real estate sales and mortgage lending in Marin County, Karen has realized her lifelong dream of relocating to the Lake Tahoe area.

Living an adventure-filled life in the outdoors has always been key to her happiness and serenity. By spending her childhood hiking, camping, snow, and water skiing, and enjoying long days at Lake Tahoe her relationship with the Sierras has become a full-on love affair.
As an excellent communicator and relationship builder, she has always gained high praise in advocating for her clients. Of course, the greatest compliment she can receive is a referral from gratified customers. Happy customer referrals continue to drive Karen’s success.
When she is not too busy working for buyers and sellers you can find Karen and her rescue dog Kona at Schaffer’s Mill golfing, hiking, and practicing yoga during the summer. During the colder months, Karen is sure to be found skiing, snowshoeing, and ice skating at Northstar. Karen’s son, Michael Mason has a degree in Journalism and Marketing from the University of Oregon. Michael oversees the marketing and promotional services surrounding Karen’s Tahoe Mountain Realty activities.
Karen is a University of California at Berkeley graduate and holds a National Mortgage License.
