Jason Waters

Born and raised as a third-generation Truckee local Jason knows the ins and outs of the North Lake Tahoe-Truckee community.

His unique local knowledge mixed with impeccable service was gleaned from over a decade as a PGA Golf Professional. Growing up in Tahoe, Jason was fortunate enough to experience many of the area’s luxuries, and finds it truly rewarding and motivating to help others do the same. Jason attended Arizona State University perusing his interest in the golf industry and upon graduation quickly moved back home. After many successful years working as a Golf Professional in the Tahoe area, Jason felt the itch to travel. Now with four trips to the south Pacific under his belt, Jason has created long-lasting friendships and connections in the South Island of New Zealand. Even while traveling, it was a priority for Jason to stay in touch with his professional Tahoe connections knowing that eventually, he’d return home. Tahoe Mountain Realty provides the perfect platform for Jason to excel in his local element. Along with his wife Drew, settling back down in Truckee has allowed Jason to say without any ambiguity, “I am home.”

Figures through May 2021 provide numerous milestone data points for the performance of real estate in the Tahoe-Truckee region. Notably, the most recent month marks 12 months since the abrupt overwhelming rebound in demand that followed market stasis in the immediate aftermath of quarantine. As well, several notable year-to-date thresholds have been crossed through the first five months of 2021 despite facing severely constrained supply. And finally, the very early days of summer have begun showing indications of the season to come.
