Today is the beginning of Northstar’s Holiday Kickoff weekend. WIth new trails at the top of the mountian recently groomed, Northstar now has 8 ski trails open and the best conditions in the Tahoe area for early-season skiing and riding. In addition to the on-mountain fun, The Village at Northstar will host activities and events over the next three days to celebrate the holiday and winter seasons. Some of the upcoming festivities include:
- Sleigh rides through The Village
- Ripperoo parades
- Carolers
- Crafts
- Ice skating
- Live music
- The Black Friday Trunk Show at The Ritz-Carlton, Lake Tahoe from 10am-6pm
- Art of the Cocktail at The Ritz-Carlton, Lake Tahoe
The warm, sunny weather has been displaced as a storm is now steadily moving into the Tahoe area. This system is predicted to bring up to a foot of snow to the mountains this weekend in addition to more snow from a second storm that is expected to arrive early next week.
