Arguably the best time of year in Tahoe is the Fall. Perhaps I am only saying this right now because frankly, it is Fall, and once the snow hits and the first few powder days are under the belt, Winter will be my favorite time of year until Summer beaches are calling….and so on and so on…. oh man I love Tahoe!

The beauty of flexing activities with the seasons is what makes life in the mountains so enjoyable for me, while each weather pattern unlocks a new sport or activity to enjoy with friends and family.

Fall is a beautiful collision of seasons in Tahoe as lake temperatures are still bearable for boating, wakesurfing and swimming, while crowds are gone and hike/bike trails become glittered with bright yellow aspen leaves, popping against the giant green Ponderosa trees.

Right now for me…it’s bike season 100% and after a few days of rain in the past weeks, with more rain/snow in the forecast this weekend, yes i said SNOW…cooler temperatures will keep tacky dirt conditions primed for weeks to come. Here are some of my favorite trails…

Northstar Bike Park- Closing Weekend!

Tahoe Rim Trail/Incline Flume/Chimney Beach

Tahoe Donner Bike Trails
