Great Kids’ Beach – Moon Dunes Beach in Tahoe Vista (located near Pino Grande Ave)
Swimming area is great for children but this secluded beach does require a little bit of hiking to access.
Classic Tahoe Beach – Sand Harbor – East Shore of Lake Tahoe
Beautiful sandy beach with stunning views of the mountains and great sunsets. The Lake Tahoe Shakespeare Festival calls this beach home. Fee to enter.
Something for Everyone – Kings Beach State Recreation Area – Heart of Kings Beach
This beach has it all! Rent kayaks and paddle boards or play a little beach volleyball. Thursday concerts and movies on Tuesday nights.
