Farmers’ markets are open and back in action in the Truckee/Tahoe area. Featuring a variety organic local farm produce, cheese, breads, meats, local honey and more, the markets are the best place to stock up for healthy summer meals. There are several different locations and times to find the markets throughout the week.

Truckee: Tuesdays 8AM-1PM Truckee Certified Farmers’ Market is located near the baseball fields at 10500 Brockway Road in Truckee.

Sundays 9AM-1PM: Truckee Community Farmers’ Market is located at the end of town near the outlet stores at 12057 Donner Pass Road. This market is a food and farms only market, showcasing locally grown and artisan quality foods. Sponsored by Slow Food Lake Tahoe, the goal is to support local farms and producers within 125 miles of Truckee.

Tahoe City: Thursdays 8AM-1PM Tahoe City Farmers’ Market located at Commons Beach in Tahoe City.
