Fall / Halloween Events & Activities

The Fall “shoulder season” in the North Lake Tahoe area is often overlooked by tourists, but it happens to be the best time of year for many locals and other individuals privy to its benefits. The cooler temperatures create an ideal atmosphere for aggressive outdoor recreation. Also, the autumn season build up to Halloween sets the stage for many great events and activities. Here are a few to consider which are happening over the next few weeks:

Saturday, October 12th:

Tahoe Mountain Club’s Harvest Party
12 – 2:30pm
Old Greenwood Pavilion
At this TMC annual event, pick your own pumpkin and carve it. There will be a petting zoo and pony ride as well as Halloween crafts, games and competitions. It’s a great way for kids to celebrate upcoming Halloween and the autumn season. Wear your costumes. For more information, call 530.550.3800.

Friday, October 18th:

Breast Dressed Party! Benefit for Breast Cancer
6 – 9pm
Coupe Sixty-One Salon

Saturday, October 19th:

Autumn Endurance Hike
7am
Greet the morning with a power peak climb! Begin with a 7am orientation and breakfast at Stella and then head out for 2-3 hours of heart-pumping ascent. Click here for more information.

The Ghost of Mark Twain Grand Party
