It’s time again for the Martis Camp Home Tour benefitting the Tahoe Truckee Excellence in Education Foundation, which helps to raise money for local schools. During this fifth annual event, tour six unique custom-built homes throughout this beautiful community. These six one-of-a-kind homes demonstrate the cutting edge in architecture and building including smart technology, as well as portray many creative contemporary interior designs and mountain landscaping ideas. For instance, view a concept known as “Transitional Mountain Style” which includes the use of bright color themes for each room and fun, contemporary finishes. It is a great way to learn about the latest trends, and get ideas for your home or future build.
The Tahoe Truckee Excellence in Education Foundation is a private, nonprofit organization and the proceeds from the Home Tour benefit quality public education within the Tahoe Truckee Unified School District. Money raised goes directly into the school district via Excellence in Education Foundation’s grant programs and the Martis Camp’s Community Foundation.
Tickets for the tour are $40 per person in advance, and $45 the day of. Tickets can be purchased at the TMRRE sales galleries located in The Village at Northstar, The Ritz-Carlton, Lake Tahoe, and Old Greenwood, as well as online at www.ExinEd.org. (Tickets purchased online will be held at will call.) Hours for the tour are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Guests will take a shuttle bus to each tour home. Please note that the last tour departs at 2 p.m. Food and beverages will be available at the Park Pavilion for purchase after the Tour.
