The Legacy Collection at Old Greenwood is a small enclave of seven residences within the Old Greenwood community. Originally built with the fractional ownership offerings at Old Greenwood, the prospect of selling the properties as fractional ownership was greatly diminished after the market crash in 2008, and the developer never offered any shares for sale. Because they were designated to be sold as fractional ownership only, when the fractional market dried up the developer was left with a conundrum: selling fractional shares was not viable, but the properties couldn’t be sold as whole ownership, either. Eight years later, the goal of converting the townhomes to whole ownership has been achieved, and these homes will be available to purchase as individual ownership in early summer 2016.
The Legacy Collection townhomes are located on the southwest corner of Lookout Loop and Fairway Drive. Looking out from the back porch you will see large mature pine trees scattered through the yard, with the fairway of the 10th hole beyond, as well Jack’s Pond and Caleb Creek that line the western edge of the 10th hole. Views from upstairs bedrooms are of mature, majestic pines, filtering the golf course and Jack’s Pond beyond.
Both two bedroom and three bedroom residences will be available, with initiation fee to Tahoe Mountain Club covered by the seller for those who wish to join. Two bedrooms have an open living/kitchen/dining room area downstairs, and two bedrooms, each with their own full bath, upstairs. Three bedrooms have a similar open living area downstairs, as well as the master suite bedroom and a mudroom leading out to the garage.
