As promised in the 2017 Year End Mountainside Market Update, here is more detailed information regarding the brand new Boulders Project.
Continued activity in Northstar’s mid-mountain Mountainside community has lead to scarcity of brand new property offerings. Mountainside Partners have a lone remaining vertical property in its inventory – Stellar Residence #6. Capital generated from the Stellar Collection and M-25 homesites, combined with other funds totaling more than $60M. The result… 19 impeccable residences – The Boulders.
The Boulders are in the final stages of completion, slated for finishing touches wrapping up in early Spring 2018. The initial phase of construction consists of 1 triplex and 1 duplex, or 5 total townhomes. Phase 2, with foundations poured in 2017, consists of 1 triplex, 5 duplexes, and 1 stand alone 4,900 sq ft single family residence.
Buyers can choose between four different floorplans. Spread across 2,901 square feet, the Chutes townhouse option features three beds (including a loft bunkroom) and three-and-a-half baths. Foldaway doors in the great room open up to nature, offering spectacular views in all directions. European oak wide-plank floors mirror the surrounding rugged terrain, and floating walnut vanity cabinets are the highlight of each bathroom. Elegant mosaic glass feature walls in some of the showers add a touch of softness that balances with the wood furnishings.
The Vista townhouse layout offers sweeping panoramas of the surrounding terrain. Four bedrooms, four-and-a-half baths, a home theater, and an outdoor hot tub make up each 3,728-square-foot residence. Built to maximize outdoor views, the Skiways units are outfitted with vast outdoor spaces that display fire pits and hot tubs. The 3,205-square-foot residences also include four bedrooms, four-and-a-half baths, and ample space for guests.
Offering ultimate privacy, the 4,900-square-foot single-family residences feature indoor and outdoor entertaining spaces. Every room in the single-story abode provides breathtaking vistas regardless of the season.
“The architecture is meant to showcase this landscape without upstaging it or the spectacular views of the Carson Range beyond,” says Jeff Goodwin, principal of BAR Architects.
Owners of the residences will have access to the central gathering spaces anchored by The Treehouse – with pool, game room, lounge, and sports court as well as the newly added bocce courts, wood fired pizza oven, and outdoor barbeque & kitchen; Yoga Studio, and Rendezvous Cabins.
Make sure to take the Virtual Tour of each floorplan: Chutes, Vistas, and Skiways prior to scheduling a physical tour during your next Tahoe adventure.
