Mother Nature did its part over the Thanksgiving weekend with a snow storm that brought a winter base to the Sierras. Northstar had a flurry of visitors itching to get their first turns of the season. The 2016/2017 ski season had officially arrived in a big way and the vibe at Northstar could not have been better.
The Ritz Carlton Gondola was especially busy with guests riding to and from the Village high above the Mountainside community and the newer Stellar Collections. New owners and renters were out on their decks enjoying the fresh snowfall that continued to fill in the Home Run ski trail that will provide them a winter full of fun skiing in and out their backdoor. The community as a whole was full of life and I for one am excited to see the vision of Mountainside taking shape.
The Mountainside community began with the townhouses at Trailside and Home Run. 3 and 4 bedroom units ranging from 2000 to 4000 sq. feet can be purchased in these parts of the community and provide a wonderful living experience mid-mountain at a ski resort. The next phase of the community became available last November when the Stellar Collections were completed and a new set of townhouses and single family residence homes came to market. Eleven 3 bedroom townhouses at 2200 sq. feet and six 4 bedroom residences at 3450 sq. feet were built. These Stellar units provide a more modern architecture option for those looking into the Mountainside community and have been well received by potential owners.
With a mixture of private owner re-sales and developer sales still available in the Mountainside community it is truly a one of a kind living experience in the Truckee/Tahoe area and is worth a look.
