Though it feels like summer has come and gone in the blink of an eye, there are still amazing days of fall to be had. Most summers usually revolve around playing golf, fishing and some sort of baseball activities. The fishing pole gathered dust, the golf clubs stayed put in the corner more often than not, and baseball was completely missing. With spending my first summer in the real estate industry, it gave me more time to enjoy summer, though most of that extra time went to wedding planning.
“In reality the wedding was awesome, but I waited all that time for one moment… when I finally got to see my soon to be wife walk around the corner into plain sight”
There were many things that I wanted to get done, or do this summer but unfortunately most of those did not happen. Luckily for me the, the most important thing to me this entire year was my wedding. It may not be as exciting as getting out to do an extraordinary bike ride, or a fantastic hike, but for me it was something that could not be topped by anything this summer.
Months and months of planning all led up to to one singular day. That one day was worth every second of planning for nearly a year. I never thought that it would have been something that I looked forward to as much as I did, but low and behold it was. You never think that a full year of planning would come down to one day, and then go off without a hitch. Though the last year went by with flying colors, it felt like the longest year of my life but when the day finally got here, the day felt like it was in fast forward. As fast as it had got here, the day went by even faster.
In reality the wedding was awesome, but I waited all that time for one moment. The moment when I finally get to see my soon to be wife walk around the corner into plain sight, and boy oh boy I was not disappointed. Nothing in life can prepare you for that moment. Like I said, this year didn’t include much in the way of activities, but what I did was a monumental change in my life and that in and of itself was worth missing out this summer.
