I remember the day I first arrived in Truckee. I knew this was going to be home. 16 years ago my buddy invited us to see his new home in Tahoe Donner and stay the weekend. That was it. We bought our first home in Truckee 6 months later. Who knew this was going to our full time town. Our kids Allan and Annika spent 3 summer here full time during middle school and then in to high school. After the 3rd summer here, they both said they didn’t want to live in Woodside anymore. Annika said “the people here in Truckee don’t care what you have, only who you are”. After a family meeting we decided to give it a shot, move to 96161 full time. Best decision by far. The rest is history.
I always say, I don’t sell homes I introduce a life style of fun memories for generations to enjoy.
Living at Gray’s Crossing was a dream of mine 12+ years ago. I attended the opening round of golf with Annika Sorenstam and Peter Jacobsen and fell in love with the Meadow. I told my buddy Jim Byrnes that one day I will have a home here. I called my husband Rainer to tell him that and he reacted the same way as usual with my dreams of grander. Well here we are, across the street from the driving range where I fell in love the this place.
I know dreams do come true, it has for our family. Truckee is so much more then a town, it is home. I love the fact that I get to share this amazing place with my clients and friends. I always say, I don’t sell homes I introduce a life style of fun memories for generations to enjoy. I love what I do and the people I get the honor of meeting along the way is a bonus. I love the fact that I get to ski, hike and spend outdoor time with clients. Golf is a way of life for my family and Truckee is some of the best golf on the planet. I live and love Truckee.
