As ski enthusiasts, we hate to see the 2014/2015 winter season at Northstar conclude. From November 21 through March 19, the TMR team logged many satisfying days all around the mountain. This year, Northstar’s mountain operations team kicked off snowmaking early in November and continued making snow diligently throughout the season to offset any periods of low precipitation and to maintain choice conditions on piste. We hope you enjoyed active, sunny days on the mountain with friends and family, took advantage of the best groomers in Tahoe, improved your skiing/snowboarding technique, and ventured south to explore unfamiliar terrain thanks to Northstar’s partnership with Heavenly and Kirkwood (included on season pass).

Once again, Northstar held its title as the favorite resort in Tahoe among families. New programs and events in The Village and on the mountain this season kept families absorbed in activities when not skiing or riding. To name a few, new offerings included: Tost- Bubbles on the Slopes, Mountain Table dinners, Terrain Based Learning 2.0, Family Apres Snow Play, Primo Private Ski/Snowboard Lessons, and educational exhibits through a new partnership with the Bay Area’s Discovery Museum.

We’d love to hear how you enjoyed Northstar this season. Share your experiences with us on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram using #NewNorthstar.
